We've had an electric vehicle for over five years. We started with lease of a Nissan Leaf to try it out and now own a Hyundai Kona.  Both have been great and we use the EV for ninety percent of our trips.  With 2 kids and a dog we still do have an SUV that we use for longer trips when we are all going.  Having a home charger is awesome, and I don't think anyone misses the gas station.  There is a lot of information on EVs out there and some great incentives to take advantage of!
